Lamnao Yubamrung, life partner of Chalerm Yubamrung, died peacefully after the couple recently marked their 56th wedding anniversary, family members announced on March 30, 2026. The family, who have roots in Phuket, said funeral arrangements will be shared at a later date.
Education and Career Milestones
Born to Prasert Khamsupap, Lamnao, also known as Paen, completed primary school in Bang Khun Thian and secondary studies at Singharajpittayakom School. She later graduated from Suan Dusit Teachers College and earned a bachelor’s degree from Srinakharinwirot University Bang Khen.
Lamnao began her career as a teacher at Wat Pho Thong School, eventually becoming assistant director at the same institution. In 1999, she was appointed lay judge at the Central Juvenile and Family Court, a position she held until her resignation in 2001.
Family Life
Lamnao married Police Lieutenant Colonel Chalerm Yubamrung in 1969. The couple had three sons: Police Sub-Lieutenant Ajaharn, Police Sub-Lieutenant Wan, and Police Major Duang Yubamrung.
