Iconic Cunard ship visits Singapore — confirmed details at this stage for Phuket readers.
Cunard’s iconic Queen Mary 2 arrived in Singapore on 27 March 2026, completing a six-day voyage from Hong Kong and Vietnam as part of her 108-night World Voyage, the company announced. The ship’s arrival marked a highlight for the luxury liner, which has visited more than 30 ports across the Americas, Australia, Asia, Africa, and Europe during this global journey. Over 900 guests sailing the full World Voyage attended a gala celebration at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel during the overnight stop, officials said.
Milestones Before Singapore Arrival
Before reaching Singapore, Queen Mary 2 completed her first-ever Panama Canal transit on 24 January and passed under the Bridge of the Americas the following day. In early February, she returned to Los Angeles after a 17-year absence and reunited with her legendary namesake for the first time in two decades.
The liner continued with stops in San Francisco and Auckland before arriving in Sydney on 4 March. There, author Anna Funder unveiled ‘A Letter from Australia to the World’ as part of the ship’s commemorative events.
Next Destinations and Continuing Voyage
After departing Singapore, Queen Mary 2 began a 57-night sailing to Southampton. The first segment includes a 16-night journey to Durban and Cape Town, with scheduled calls at Port Klang in Malaysia and Port Louis in Mauritius.
An overnight stay in Cape Town is planned before the ship departs on 12 April for Walvis Bay, Dakar, Tenerife, and Cádiz. Queen Mary 2 is expected to arrive in Southampton on 30 April, after which she will resume her signature Transatlantic Crossings between Southampton and New York.
