MAG-nificent return to MATTA Travel Fair

Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) will return as the Official Airline Partner and Premier Sponsor for the MATTA Travel Fair from 3 to 5 April 2026 at MITEC Kuala Lumpur, MATTA announced this week. The event, which features Phuket among its highlighted destinations, will see MAG unveil its largest-ever presence at the fair.

Expanded MAG Arena and Airline Showcase

MAG will introduce an expanded MAG Arena measuring 46,000 square feet, nearly three times larger than its September 2025 footprint. Organisers say this will be Asia’s largest airline-led pavilion at a travel fair, with more than 100 booths.

Visitors can explore offerings from Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, and Amal by Malaysia Airlines, with a focus on travel innovations and immersive technology-led cabin experiences. The arena aims to deliver an engaging environment reflecting Malaysian hospitality.

Exclusive Deals and Added Value for Travellers

Malaysia Airlines will roll out special fares for both domestic and international routes, including London, Tokyo, Melbourne, and regional cities such as Bangkok, Hanoi, and Phuket. Firefly will also offer attractive fares from KLIA Terminal 1, Subang Airport, and Penang International Airport to destinations including Phuket and Krabi, increasing travel flexibility.

Attendees can benefit from instant savings of up to MYR105 on flights and up to MYR320 on travel packages, as well as additional perks like savings on seat selection and prepaid baggage. MAG’s loyalty programme, Enrich, will offer members up to 3X Bonus Points via co-branded cards and 50% Bonus Points on hotel bookings. Admission to the MATTA Fair is free, with doors open from 10:00 to 21:00 each day.
