'Mik Thongraya' Delighted as 'Baayo Tom Yum Noodles' Marks 1 Year with Unexpected Success, Launches Exciting New Menu to Celebrate

Actor Mik Thongraya marked the first anniversary of his noodle restaurant, Baayo Tom Yum Noodles, with a special celebration in Phuket on March 28, 2026. The business, which has exceeded expectations since opening, launched a new fusion menu to commemorate the milestone, drawing attention from local food enthusiasts.

Collaboration and New Menu Highlights

The anniversary event featured a partnership with the renowned Phuket restaurant Tukabkhao. Together, they introduced a creative fusion dish: dry noodles with traditional Moo Hong pork and Baayo’s signature Vietnamese-style sausage.

A Phuket dessert, Bigo Mhoey—black sticky rice with taro and coconut cream—was also added to the menu for the occasion. Tukabkhao’s owner, Kim Theerasak, attended the launch to personally endorse the collaboration.

Thongraya described the past year as challenging but rewarding, noting that he personally managed everything from ingredient sourcing to location selection to maintain his standards. He emphasized the increased responsibility required in running a business, particularly in staff management and service quality control.
