A special operations team raided a spa in Wichit on April 10, seizing 46.09 grams of crystal methamphetamine hidden in a black shoulder bag near the premises. The inspection, conducted in Phuket, targeted licensing and compliance violations, officials said.
Discovery and Seizure Process
Officers reported finding the unattended bag during the inspection and, after no one claimed it, conducted a search of the bag and surrounding area. Inside, they located illicit substances.
A field test using the ONCB Marquis Reagent confirmed the substance as crystal methamphetamine. The confiscated drugs were handed over to investigators at Wichit Police Station for further legal action.
