Inspectors noted that most prices at Surin fresh market were stable, with red chili selling at 40–50 baht per kilogram, Chinese cabbage at 30–40 baht per kilogram, and pork cuts ranging from 150–180 baht per kilogram. Authorities verified that vendors displayed clear price signage as required, allowing consumers to make informed purchasing decisions. The inspection team emphasized the importance of transparent pricing and continued to remind traders of their obligations.
No evidence of price gouging or hoarding was found during the visit, officials said. Trading volumes and retail activity remained consistent with previous weeks, supporting the assessment that the market’s overall situation is normal and supply is sufficient.
