ThaiBev will host the Phuket Water Festival 2026 under the theme "Fun Songkran in My Hometown" from April 11 to 13. The event, now in its 11th year, will take place across key locations in Phuket, featuring cultural and creative tourism activities that celebrate the Thai New Year and highlight Phuket’s role in the national Songkran festival circuit.

Festival Highlights and Activities
The main festivities will be held at Patong Beach from 3pm to 9pm each day, with creative beachside events, Thai-Chinese cultural performances, and contemporary music by local school groups. Community markets will offer regional food and drinks, while local artisans will showcase their crafts.
On April 13, a merit-making ceremony will take place at Wat Mai Khao from 6:30am to 8:30am, including almsgiving, Buddha statue bathing, and the traditional water-pouring ritual for elders. Organisers have also planned a learning space development project at Ban Mai Khao School and a beach clean-up at Mai Khao near Sirinat National Park.
The festival aims to sustain and promote Thai cultural heritage, following Songkran’s recent UNESCO recognition as Intangible Cultural Heritage. ThaiBev stated that the event will be managed with a focus on economic, social, and environmental sustainability, reinforcing Phuket’s appeal to both domestic and international visitors.
