Salesman Wanted for Shooting Colleague at Phuket Mall Warehouse

A department store salesman is wanted for allegedly shooting a colleague inside a Phuket mall warehouse on April 6, according to Phuket City Police. Authorities identified the suspect as 50-year-old Mr. Prakit (surname withheld) and have released surveillance footage of the incident. Police are urging the public to report any sightings as the manhunt continues in Phuket.

Incident Details and Police Response

Investigators said 40-year-old Mr. Wirat (surname withheld) was shot twice—once in the torso and once in the thigh—inside the warehouse. The victim managed to escape and contacted a friend, who took him to hospital for emergency treatment.

Witnesses told police that Mr. Wirat phoned them after the attack, naming Mr. Prakit as the shooter. CCTV footage reviewed by police showed Mr. Prakit chasing and firing at his colleague before fleeing the scene.

An official arrest warrant for Mr. Prakit was issued on April 7. Police described the suspect as armed and dangerous and said efforts are ongoing to locate and apprehend him.
