Police in Phuket arrested a Thai van driver accused of raping a 20-year-old Ukrainian tourist on April 6, 2026, after investigators tracked the suspect using CCTV footage. Phuket City Police identified the man as Sukhan, 42, from Takua Pa district in Phang Nga province. Officers took him into custody at 16:30, authorities said.
