Tour guide confirmed dead in tour boat fire

A tour guide was confirmed dead after a fire broke out aboard a tour boat near Phuket on April 6, authorities said. The incident occurred while the vessel was carrying tourists on a scheduled excursion in the Andaman Sea. Emergency responders evacuated passengers, but the guide was unaccounted for until the body was recovered later that day.

Evacuation and Response Efforts
