Vibhavadi Hospital marked its 40th anniversary on April 3, 2026, announcing new initiatives to raise medical standards and position itself as a leading international health center. The event, themed “Vibhavadi 40th Anniversary: Smart Living, Healthy Aging,” highlighted the hospital’s commitment to innovation across prevention, specialized treatment, and holistic care for all age groups. The hospital’s management emphasized a shift from reactive treatment to proactive health management, aiming to set benchmarks for sustainable quality of life in Phuket and beyond.

Preventive Care and Lifestyle Innovation

The hospital launched a Lifestyle Health Screening Center, offering customizable health check-up programs tailored to individual lifestyles, allowing early identification of personal risk factors. Additional services include a Travel Medicine unit for pre-departure vaccinations and documentation, and a Vaccine Center providing immunizations for those aged 15 and above, supporting active aging.

Sexology consultations are now available, expanding access to gender and sexual health expertise. These programs reflect the hospital’s strategy to address evolving health needs through personalized and preventive care.

Advanced Medical Specializations and Expansion

Vibhavadi’s Neurological Center now provides comprehensive care for conditions such as stroke, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, chronic migraines, and brain tumors, utilizing a multidisciplinary team and advanced diagnostics. The hospital introduced awake craniotomy procedures, allowing surgeons to operate while patients are conscious, as well as Gamma Knife radiosurgery, a non-invasive treatment for brain lesions that avoids the need for open-skull surgery.
