British man taken to hospital after Patong hotel incident
A 31-year-old British man was taken to Patong Hospital after rescue workers responded to reports of erratic behaviour at a hotel on Oct. 8.
A 31-year-old British man was taken to Patong Hospital for medical assessment after reportedly behaving aggressively while naked at a hotel in Patong on Oct. 8, according to The Phuket News.
The Kusoldharm Phuket Rescue Center’s Patong unit received a report at 10:44pm about a foreign man behaving erratically at a hotel on Thaweewong Road, near the northern end of Patong Beach. Rescue workers found the man, identified as a Londoner, in a highly agitated state, reportedly alarming other foreign tourists.
The rescuers eventually detained him in the hotel’s swimming pool before transporting him to Patong Hospital for further treatment. The cause of his behaviour had not been confirmed.
