Bumrungrad Phuket Promotes Seamless Healthcare Network at 2026 Health Expo
Bumrungrad International Hospital Phuket and VitalLife Wellness Center Phuket showcased connected healthcare services and health technologies at Phuket Health Expo 2026.
Bumrungrad International Hospital Phuket and the VitalLife Wellness Center Phuket participated in Phuket Health Expo 2026, presenting plans for a connected healthcare network serving Phuket and the Andaman region.
The event was held from July 1 to 5, 2026, at Central Phuket under the theme "One Bumrungrad Network, Seamless Care for Phuket and the Andaman." The participation highlighted Bumrungrad’s vision of providing integrated healthcare services for people in Phuket and surrounding Andaman provinces.
The Bumrungrad booth drew on Phuket’s distinctive Sino-Colonial architecture and featured health technologies, including a virtual reality assessment of brain function and an artificial intelligence-supported health evaluation. The evaluation covered six areas: heart health, strength, flexibility, balance, brain function and body composition. The booth also offered special privileges for health-check programs.
A panel discussion titled "The Future of Medicine and Lifestyle Changes: Moving Toward a Longer, Higher-Quality Life" was led by Dr. Wannawiput Sappasitwong, a specialist in preventive and lifestyle medicine. She is also chief executive officer of Lifestyle Tech Solution and business development director of the VitalLife Wellness Center. The discussion covered preventive healthcare, health technology and medical innovations aimed at supporting long-term health and quality of life.
Bumrungrad International Hospital Phuket is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2027. The facility is expected to link its care services with Bumrungrad Hospital Bangkok, providing access to prevention, wellness, diagnosis, treatment and referrals for patients requiring complex care. The planned network is intended to expand access to internationally standard healthcare for communities in Phuket and the Andaman region.
