Central Pattana to open new community malls in Phuket and Pattaya
Central Pattana to open new community malls in Phuket and Pattaya — confirmed details at this stage for Phuket readers.
Central Pattana said in May 2026 it is preparing to launch two new community malls in Phuket and Pattaya as it expands its retail footprint in Bangkok and major tourism markets. The company said the Phuket opening will coincide with Phase 2 of Porto de Phuket in Bang Tao, an open-air mall focused on food and beverage tenants near Laguna Phuket.
Phuket portfolio grows to five retail projects
The new community mall will lift Central’s retail project count in Phuket to five. Its existing sites are Central Festival Phuket, Central Phuket Floresta, Central Patong and Porto de Phuket.
Porto de Phuket first opened in December 2019. The expansion reinforces Central Pattana’s push to secure retail locations in high-demand commercial areas.
Northville mixed-use project advances in Nonthaburi
On May 11, 2026, Central Pattana held a foundation stone ceremony for Central Northville, a new mixed-use development in central Nonthaburi. The project, formerly Central Rattanathibet, is being redeveloped on 59 rai with a gross building area of 210,000 square meters.
The scheme uses a biophilic design concept linking the mall with the PHYLL condominium and introducing what the company describes as Thailand’s first Outdoor-in-Indoor experience.
Planned attractions include the country’s largest Japanese-style indoor sports and gaming venue, D-Sports Stadium, along with a redesigned Fitness First, a full Pilates studio and a HYROX Training Club. The food lineup will include Solsot, Katsu Midori, Momo Paradise, Shabu Baru, Saemaeul, Eat Am Are and Chagee, while SF Cinema is scheduled to open in July 2026.
