Central Pattana says construction of Central Phuket’s luxury expansion is more than 60% complete, with the first phase scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2027.
Central Pattana says the first phase of Central Phuket’s expanded luxury zone is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2027, with construction more than 60% complete.
The expansion covers 14 rai and is intended to develop Central Phuket into a global luxury and lifestyle destination in downtown Phuket. The project has a total value of more than B26 billion, spans 500,000 square metres and occupies 110 rai, the company said on 20 October 2026.
Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana, chief marketing officer of Central Pattana, said the company had developed Central Phuket alongside the island for more than 20 years. The expansion is aimed at attracting high-spending Thai consumers, long-stay foreign residents and international tourists.
Central Phuket currently has 23 global luxury brands and more than 250 fashion and bridge-line brands. They include Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Bulgari, Burberry, Celine, Dior, Gucci, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Omega, Prada, Saint Laurent, Tiffany & Co, Tod’s, Valentino, Versace and Zegna.
The company said Louis Vuitton had expanded to the largest boutique in southern Thailand, while Prada had opened a 597-square-metre boutique. Other developments include an expanded PMT The Hour Glass, pop-ups for Celine and Chanel Beauty, revised store concepts for Balenciaga and Saint Laurent, and Phuket’s first Tod’s pop-up outside Bangkok. Bulgari has also opened its first and only exclusive-concept boutique in Phuket, according to the company.
Central Pattana is also planning a culinary landmark covering more than 20,000 square metres and featuring more than 150 restaurant brands. The planned mix includes Michelin-level restaurants, global dining brands, local establishments and street-food outlets. The company said it would seek to double the number of Michelin-level restaurants in the future.
The dining development is expected to include Phuket and southern Thai favourites such as Kathu-style pork leg, Ann Khao Kua Kai, Mee Ton Poe and Moo Krob Ji Hong, alongside brands including Starbucks Reserve, described by the company as the largest in Phuket, and Su Va Na, a World’s Culinary Awards winner.
Plans also include a world-class entertainment and culture arena, a water-based attraction and year-round events such as Pride Month, Songkran and countdown celebrations. Central Pattana said further details of the new entertainment landmark would be announced later.
