Fire at workers’ camp in Koh Kaew brought under control
A fire at a workers’ camp in Koh Kaew was brought under control about an hour after it was reported, with no injuries or deaths reported.
A fire at a workers’ camp in Koh Kaew Soi 24 was brought under control at about 7:40pm on 10 August, around an hour after it was reported.
The Koh Kaew Tambon Administrative Organisation Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Unit responded with local leaders and other relevant agencies. Firefighters continued spraying water over the site to prevent the blaze from reigniting, while authorities managed traffic in the area.
No injuries or deaths had been reported in the latest update. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
