Four Points Phuket Patong combines 600-room resort with conference facilities
The Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort opened in 2020 as Thailand’s first Four Points property and offers accommodation, dining and conference facilities opposite Patong Beach.
The Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort has developed into a 600-room resort with extensive conference facilities since opening in 2020, according to a TTR Weekly review.
The property officially opened on 1 October 2020 as the first Four Points hotel in Thailand. The review, based on a four-day, three-night stay, described the predominantly low-rise resort as having a design centred on pools, narrow waterways and tropical landscaping.
The resort includes The Deck Beach Club, with an infinity-style pool, beachfront setting, music and DJ performances. The Little Sea Gypsies Kids’ Club provides supervised activities for children.
There are eight room categories. The review highlighted the Superior Triple Rooms, which accommodate up to three guests with a sofa bed and either a king bed or two double beds. Other room categories include pool-access rooms, while some offer balconies, ocean views or terraces with direct access to the pool.
The resort’s meeting facilities include the Akara Grand Ballroom, which now features a 9m by 5m LED wall and can accommodate up to 500 guests. It is supported by a junior ballroom, meeting and breakout rooms, reception and pre-function areas, and indoor and outdoor event space across two levels.
Dining options include Sears & Co. Bar and Grill, which offers indoor and outdoor seating overlooking Patong Beach. The review also singled out breakfast at Chao Leh Kitchen, where Asian, Indian and Western dishes are presented across separate kitchen areas.
The hotel stands opposite Patong Beach, a stretch of sand extending for approximately three kilometres. The review described the beach as active from early morning, with vendors, restaurants, exercise areas and beach businesses preparing for the day, followed later by water sports, volleyball and food stalls.
Five years after first inspecting the resort in 2021, the reviewer said the property had matured and was more impressive than on the initial visit.
