The campaign also includes a Phuket-linked hotel prize, with a three-day, two-night stay at Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket worth B16,000 among the event giveaways.
Solar rooftop loans target lower household energy costs
The bank set a B1 billion lending framework for buyers building or purchasing homes with solar rooftop systems. Promotional rates are 0.99% a year in months 1-2, 1.99% in months 3-6 and 2.99% in months 7-12 for borrowers who take insurance under the bank’s conditions, giving a first-year average of 2.32%.
Loan terms run up to 40 years. A B1 million loan starts at about B3,600 a month, while a B300,000 loan for solar rooftop installation starts at B1,100 a month.
Customers installing solar rooftop systems can also receive support of up to B30,000 for systems smaller than 5 kilowatts and up to B50,000 for systems of 5KW or more.
Other promotions include deposits, savings tickets and foreclosed homes
GH Bank also promoted its “Yoo Yen Pen Suk” housing loan with free mortgage registration and appraisal fees, a fixed first-year rate from 2.20% and a three-year average rate of 2.86%. A B1 million loan under that package starts at B2,900 a month over 40 years.
Savings products at the event include a deposit account paying up to 1.55% a year for balances not exceeding B200,000, with interest exempt from tax for individuals. The bank’s “Thong Kwao Mangmee” savings tickets cost B1,000 a unit, run for one year, pay 0.30% a year at maturity and offer a B3 million first prize across 12 draws, while “Benjamas Permsap” tickets cost B5 million a unit, pay 1.20% a year and offer a B5 million first prize across 12 draws.
The bank is also selling more than 600 second-hand properties nationwide at discounts of up to 50%, with a 0% fixed rate for the first two years on selected financing and a B1,000 cash voucher for the first 20 buyers who reserve at the event and complete transfer under bank conditions.
