The China International Chamber of Commerce in Guangzhou announced on May 17 that it has appointed Dr. Songrit Rattanadilok na Phuket, president of the Thailand-China Economic Relations Association, as an Overseas Advisor. The appointment gives the Phuket-linked business figure a formal role in a China-based chamber position tied to cross-border economic cooperation.
The chamber said the term runs from November 2025 to November 2030, setting a five-year advisory period. The announcement was distributed by ThaiPR.net at 2:31pm on Sunday.
Role targets trade, investment and business links
According to the announcement, the advisory role is intended to support cooperation in economic affairs, trade and investment between Thailand and China. It also aims to strengthen links among business networks in both countries and encourage more continuous and concrete exchanges of commercial opportunities.
The Thailand-China Economic Relations Association said it is continuing work to connect private-sector groups, government agencies, cultural bodies and entrepreneur networks. That effort is aimed at creating business opportunities, reinforcing bilateral economic ties and supporting sustainable growth.
