Iranian Man Arrested in Phuket on Court Warrant in Alleged Armed Home Invasion Case
A 37-year-old Iranian man was arrested in Cherng Talay, Phuket, on a court warrant alleging armed trespass into a residence with violence.
Police in Phuket arrested a 37-year-old Iranian man on Thursday evening under a court-issued warrant linked to an alleged armed home invasion.
Officers from the Crime Suppression Division Region 8 carried out the arrest at about 6:51 p.m. on June 4, 2026, at a condominium in the Cherng Talay area, according to information police gave to the Phuket Express.
The suspect was identified only as Mr. Amir, 37, an Iranian national. Police said a warrant issued by the Phuket Provincial Court accuses him of “jointly committing armed trespass into a residence with the use of violence.”
After the arrest, officers recorded the case details and transferred Mr. Amir to Cherng Talay Police Station for further investigation and legal proceedings.
Police did not release further details about the alleged home invasion, including the circumstances of the case or what weapons were reportedly involved.
