Man, 25, dies after car crashes into light pole in Phuket
Yingwisit Singhin, 25, died after his Phuket-registered Toyota Altis crashed into a light pole outside an apartment building.
A 25-year-old man died after his car crashed into a light pole outside Pimprapai Place Apartment in Phuket, with the incident reported at about 2:36am.
Rescue workers from the Kusoldharm Phuket Foundation found the man trapped inside a bronze Toyota Altis registered in Phuket. They used cutting and spreading equipment to free him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene after being extricated in about 10 minutes.
The deceased was identified as Yingwisit Singhin, from Trang province. His body was taken to Vachira Phuket Hospital for forensic examination, while relatives were contacted to arrange the funeral.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
