Motorbike rider stabbed in Koh Kaew road-rage clash

A motorbike rider was stabbed in a road-rage clash in Koh Kaew, Phuket, at about 2:40pm on May 4 in front of Muslim Wittaya School Phuket. Police said the injured rider, identified only as Weerayut, suffered a knife wound to his right arm and received initial assistance before being taken to hospital.
Initial questioning found the dispute began between Weerayut and the driver of a six-wheeled truck. Investigators said both men had cut each other off on the road before the argument turned into a physical fight.
Truck driver admits attack, police continue case
During the confrontation, the truck driver, identified only as Boonsin, stabbed the rider in the arm, police said.
Boonsin later admitted to officers that he had argued with the motorcyclist and carried out the attack. He was taken into custody at the scene and transferred to Phuket City Police Station for legal proceedings.
Police said the investigation was continuing and charges would be pursued in accordance with the law.
