UPDATE: Nene Royal receives Phuket welcome after America’s Got Talent win
Nene Royal arrived in Phuket on 27 September after winning America’s Got Talent Season 21, with family, OZONE members, officials and fans greeting her at the airport.
Thai singer Nene Royal returned to Phuket on 27 September 2026 after winning America’s Got Talent Season 21, arriving at Phuket International Airport at 10:50 on Cathay Pacific flight CX 771.
The 16-year-old performer, whose real name is Rattikarn Amloy, travelled with her family and members of the OZONE band. She was greeted by the Phuket governor, the airport director, True representatives, airport officials and fans.
Nene’s grandmother, Kaew Boonkoet, and relatives from Nakhon Si Thammarat also joined the welcome. The governor congratulated her and presented her with an Eco Print leaf-pattern scarf from Ratsada subdistrict, a local community product representing Phuket’s identity.
Nene began playing guitar and teaching herself music as a child before gaining experience performing in Phuket and progressing to America’s Got Talent. Her Season 21 victory came with a US$1 million prize.
Phuket also planned a welcoming parade around Phuket Old Town later on 27 September, giving residents and fans an opportunity to celebrate her return.
