ORN begins construction of B290m lifestyle community in Phuket’s Thalang

Ornsirin Holding Plc (ORN) is developing The Backyard Phuket, a B290 million lifestyle community in Thalang, Phuket, with completion expected in the first quarter of 2027.

The project covers more than two rai and will feature a two-storey building with 18 units and 3,647.64 square metres of usable space. ORN said it is designed as a community combining retail, dining, shopping, leisure and family activities for local residents and visitors.

The development is being built under the concept “The Most Livable Neighborhood”, linking residents, housing, educational facilities and lifestyle activities. The company said the site is intended to provide convenient connections to nearby destinations and serve as more than a conventional retail space.

Construction is under way, and ORN is seeking retail operators and business partners to join the project. The company said the development is intended to support Thalang’s growth as a lifestyle destination and create recurring income from the long-term management of commercial space.
