The Phuket chapter of the Chulalongkorn University Alumni Association has awarded six scholarships worth a combined B50,000 to students from Phuket studying at Chulalongkorn University.
Phuket Vice Governor Romdon Hayiawae presided over the ceremony on Wednesday, 14 October 2026. The event marked King Chulalongkorn Memorial Day, also known as Phra Piya Maharaj Day, which was observed on Tuesday, 13 October.
The awards included four scholarships of B10,000 and two of B5,000. The association said they were intended to help with educational expenses and support students’ academic development and broader potential.
