Phuket forecast calls for thundershowers and rougher seas in storms

Scattered thundershowers are forecast in Phuket on 2 October 2026, with temperatures expected to range from 23-25°C to 32-36°C, according to the Thai Meteorological Department.
The department said southeasterly winds of 15-30 km/h would prevail from Phang Nga southward. Waves were forecast at about 1 metre, rising above 2 metres in areas affected by thundershowers.
The wider southern forecast also covers Krabi, Trang and Satun. The department advised vessels to proceed with caution and keep away from thundershowers.
