Phuket forecast warns of heavy rain and thunderstorms on 3 October
Phuket is forecast to see scattered thunderstorms and isolated heavy rain, with waves rising above 2 metres in storm conditions.
The Thai Meteorological Department forecast scattered thunderstorms and isolated heavy rain in Phuket on Saturday, 3 October 2026.
The forecast also covers Phang Nga, Krabi and Trang. Temperatures in the area are expected to range from 23°C to 26°C, with maximum temperatures of 31°C to 34°C.
Westerly winds are forecast at 15–30 km/h. Waves are expected to be about 1 metre, rising above 2 metres in areas affected by thunderstorms.
The department advised vessels to proceed with caution and keep away from thunderstorms. The weak southwest monsoon is prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf.
