Phuket was included in a forecast for thunderstorms and isolated heavy rain across southern Thailand on 7 November 2026, as the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation issued a separate flash-flood alert for five districts in Prachuap Khiri Khan.

The regional forecast also covered Ranong, Phang Nga and Krabi. Temperatures in the affected provinces were expected to range from 23°C to 35°C. Waves were forecast at about 1 metre, rising above 1 metre offshore and exceeding 2 metres in thundershowers.

The DDPM mobile alert targeted Kui Buri, Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thap Sakae, Bang Saphan and Bang Saphan Noi districts. Authorities highlighted Khao Lan, Thap Sakae and Huai Yang subdistricts in Thap Sakae as high-risk areas because of persistent heavy rain and rising accumulated water levels.

Residents in the alerted districts were advised to move valuables and vehicles to higher ground and take precautions against electrical hazards.
