Phuket luxury property sales rise 45% in first half of 2026

Phuket luxury property sales increased 45% in the first half of 2026, with CBRE attributing the rise to growing investor confidence and continued demand for premium residences on the island.

International buyers accounted for 67% of Phuket residential purchases recorded by CBRE during the period, while Thai buyers made up 33%. Buyers came from markets including the United Kingdom, Russia, Canada, India, the United States and several European countries.

Prakaipeth Meechoosarn, head of Phuket property sales at CBRE Thailand, said branded residences had received a strong response. She cited PEYLAA Phuket, Autograph Collection Residences, which attracted strong interest after its show residences opened in late Q1.

CBRE said condominiums in Bang Tao and Cherng Talay remained Phuket’s most sought-after locations and key investment areas during the first half of the year. The company said international buyers were increasingly viewing Thailand as a destination for expanding their property portfolios through high-quality real estate investments.
