Phuket Marriott highlights meetings and wedding venues at Merlin Beach

Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach, is promoting its meetings, events and destination wedding facilities at Tri-Trang Beach in Phuket.

The resort said it has seven event rooms, more than 740 square metres of indoor event space and a 3,780-square-metre Beach Lawn overlooking the Andaman Sea. The facilities are intended for business meetings, conferences, corporate events, social celebrations and weddings.

The Merlin Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 650 guests in a theatre-style conference setup, according to the resort. It also offers flexible layouts, audiovisual technology and event and catering services for gatherings ranging from executive meetings to larger conferences.

The resort said its pre-function areas provide space for registration, networking, entertainment and refreshments. It also promotes themed coffee breaks and dining options for event guests.

For outdoor functions, the Beach Lawn can host large receptions and banquets in a beachfront setting. The resort said the venue can accommodate wedding ceremonies for up to 500 guests.

Indoor and outdoor options are also available for other parts of a wedding, including cocktail receptions and seated celebrations. The Merlin Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 350 guests for a seated wedding reception, the resort said.

Marriott Certified Wedding Planners work with couples on menus, table settings, entertainment and other wedding services, according to the resort.

The property is located along Tri-Trang Beach, a short distance from Patong Beach. It describes its event offering as combining tropical surroundings, professional services and five-star hospitality.
