A mobile phone shop owner in Phuket said two Israeli tourists reportedly confronted him on 24 August 2026 over a “Free Palestine” flag displayed outside his store, according to Khaosod English.
The incident took place at Ban Rak Mobile, a mobile phone sales and repair shop. The verbal exchange became heated and was later shared widely online, the report said.
The shop owner has since spoken publicly about the confrontation.
