Phuket plans welcome for Nene Royal after AGT 2026 win

Phuket authorities are preparing a homecoming celebration for 16-year-old Nene Royal after she won America’s Got Talent 2026, according to the provincial administration.

The province said on 25 September that it was coordinating with Nene Royal’s representatives to confirm her return schedule. A public welcome will be arranged when she arrives back in Phuket, allowing residents to congratulate her.

The event will use the theme “FROM PHUKET. TO THE WORLD. — Welcome Home, Nene Royal.” Provincial spokesperson and Deputy Governor Romdon Haji Awa said the achievement was a source of pride for Phuket and Thailand and could inspire local children and young people to develop their abilities and pursue opportunities at national and international levels.
