Phuket authorities confirmed four deaths in the first four days of the Songkran Seven Days of Danger road safety campaign, which began April 10 and continues through April 16, 2026. The latest fatality and six injuries were reported on April 13, following seven traffic accidents across the island.

Breakdown of Accidents and Injuries
Officials recorded a total of 21 road accidents resulting in 17 injuries since the campaign started. The injured included both Thai nationals and foreign visitors from several countries.
On April 12, the third day of the campaign, Phuket reported three deaths. The cumulative figures reflect ongoing efforts to monitor and address road safety during the Songkran Festival’s peak travel period.
