Phuket rider receives food order to abandoned prison with eerie delivery note

A Phuket food-delivery rider was startled when his first order of the day sent him to an abandoned prison and included instructions to leave food beside a wall for a named person.

The incident was described in a video posted by the TikTok account max_montol2002. The order was for chicken rice from a restaurant in Phuket, with the old prison in the city listed as the destination.

The rider initially thought the food might have been ordered by a prison guard’s wife or relative. When he arrived, however, he found the site deserted. The report said the prison was no longer in use because all prisoners had been moved to a new facility.

The note attached to the order instructed him to place the food beside the prison wall and call the person named in the message to come out and eat.

In the video, the rider said he was frightened and unsure what to do, but continued because he regarded the delivery as part of his work.

The video drew messages of support. Some commenters said it was fortunate that the delivery took place during the day, while others described it as an opportunity to make merit for the dead. Some also asked for the rider’s vehicle registration number and order number to use in lottery betting.
