A delegation led by Lt Gen Chakkaj Prasong, Royal Guard to Her Royal Highness, visited Phuket last Friday, May 1, to assess preparations and conduct a site survey for Princess Sirindhorn’s upcoming visit. Vice Governor Adul Chuthong received the team with senior provincial officials and representatives from key agencies as planning moved ahead for the June 1 engagement.
School inspection and multi-agency planning
The delegation inspected Chalermprakiat Somdej Phra Srinakarin School, where Her Royal Highness is scheduled to preside over the inauguration of the “Sri Sirindhorn” building.
Officials said the review covered venue arrangements, facilities, security measures and the sequence of ceremonial proceedings.
Phuket Provincial Police joined the inspection and planning session alongside the 41st Military District, the 3rd Naval Area Command and other security and administrative bodies.
Authorities said the coordination was intended to ensure the programme proceeds smoothly and that royal protocols are carried out with respect and efficiency.
The visit is scheduled as a private royal engagement, and all departments have been instructed to complete readiness measures well before June 1.
