Sixteen-year-old Phuket performer Rattikan “Nene Royal” Amloy departed from Phuket International Airport on 19 August to compete in the America’s Got Talent live shows in the United States on 25 August.

Amloy travelled with her parents, Narong and Aom Amloy, and her younger brother. The family flew via Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport before continuing to the United States.

She said she felt prepared after months of intensive training, during which she often practised for most of the day. Amloy added that lessons from her earlier appearances in the competition would help strengthen her upcoming performance.

She asked supporters in Thailand and abroad, including the Phuket community and relatives in the United States, to follow her progress and vote. “Your encouragement gives me strength and confidence to stand on the world stage,” she said.

Her father said the family had prepared carefully for the next round and indicated that her performance would include surprises intended to show her growth and creativity.

The live shows will see contestants perform before a global audience and seek public votes to advance. Amloy said she hoped supporters would continue cheering for her and voting.
