Phuket to host three-day Parkland & Music Fest in Mai Khao
Phuket will stage the Parkland & Music Fest from July 24-26 at Phuket Gateway in Mai Khao, with the PPAO saying the event is aimed at boosting tourism and creating opportunities for local businesses.
Phuket will host the three-day Parkland & Music Fest from July 24-26 at Phuket Gateway in Mai Khao, Thalang, with organisers positioning the event as part of a wider push to promote tourism and support local business.
Phuket Provincial Administration Organisation President Rewat Areerob said the festival is intended to drive tourism through music, art and cultural activities while creating new experiences that reflect Phuket’s identity as a world-class tourist destination.
He said the event also forms part of the PPAO’s broader strategy to encourage year-round tourism and strengthen the grassroots economy by creating business opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
Held under the theme “Sugar Candy”, the festival will turn the Phuket Gateway site into a colourful “Candy Land” featuring live music, art installations and lifestyle activities.
Organisers have planned two performance stages. The main stage will focus on major concerts and entertainment, while the garden stage will provide a more relaxed setting for folk and acoustic performances.
Scheduled artists on the main stage include Atom Chanakan, Pujan Longmike and Ratchayothin. Waiwit and Watcharawalee are among the performers set to appear on the garden stage.
The event will also include family-friendly attractions such as craft workshops, handmade goods, coffee and bakery stalls featuring local products, and more than 140 food vendors offering a wide selection of local cuisine.
Other planned attractions include themed photo zones, balloon displays and the “Candy Costume Contest 2026”. Organisers said they expect the festival to generate additional spending for local businesses while helping promote Phuket as a leading destination for creative tourism.
The PPAO has invited residents and visitors from across Thailand and overseas to attend the festival and experience Phuket through music, art, culture and food.
