Phuket welcomes America’s Got Talent winner Nene Royal
Phuket held an official ceremony, parade and public performance on 27 September to celebrate America’s Got Talent champion Rattikarn “Nene Royal” Amloy.
Phuket Province held an official welcome on 27 September for America’s Got Talent champion Rattikarn “Nene Royal” Amloy and her family, followed by a parade through Phuket town and a public performance for fans, according to a Thai Government Public Relations Department press release.
The ceremony took place at the Khaw Sim Bee Meeting Hall of the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization. Phuket Governor Chotnarin Kerdsom led the event, which was also attended by PPAO President Rewat Areerob.
The governor presented a royal portrait of Their Majesties the King and Queen to Amloy and her family. The press release said the gesture reflected the province’s and the nation’s pride in her achievement. Chotnarin praised her dedication and talent and said her success could inspire Thai young people to pursue opportunities internationally.
After the ceremony, Amloy joined a vehicle parade organised by Phuket City Municipality through Phuket town. The event concluded at Charter Intersection, where she greeted fans and performed live with the Ozone band.
