Phuket welcomes Nene Royal with parade through Old Town

Residents, fans and Phuket officials welcomed Nene Royal back to the province on 27 September with a parade through Phuket Old Town.

The welcome began at the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organisation, where the Phuket governor and the president of the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organisation joined members of the public and fans to greet and congratulate Nene Royal.

Nene Royal then travelled to Limelight Phuket, the meeting point for a parade around Phuket Old Town. Crowds gathered outside the venue, holding signs, cheering and taking photographs.

The parade passed through the Old Town area as residents, fans and tourists lined the route. People waved, cheered and recorded the procession as it moved through the historic district.

Khaosod reported that fans had travelled from several areas to take part in the homecoming, which was held after Nene Royal gained recognition on an international stage.
