Police investigate violent brawl after traffic crash on Phuket road

Police are investigating a violent confrontation that broke out after a traffic accident on Sri Sunthorn Road in Phuket at about 9:05 a.m., according to details shared online.

A video published online showed a physical fight between a Thai man and a foreign national following what was described as a minor collision involving a foreign woman and a Thai motorcyclist. The Thai man reportedly suffered cuts and other injuries.

According to the source, the dispute escalated during a roadside argument after the foreign woman allegedly refused to discuss damage to the vehicles and the Thai man tried to grab her car keys. Witnesses cited in the source said the woman then attacked the Thai man with a glass object.

The source said another foreign man who was driving past the scene intervened and became involved in a fistfight with the Thai man in the middle of the road, alarming other motorists.

Police are investigating and plan to interview all parties to establish the cause of the incident.
