PROUD says Phuket branded residence earns island’s first Fitwel certification
The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort has received a two-star Fitwel certification, with completion expected in 2027.
The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort has received a two-star Fitwel certification under the Multifamily Residential v3.0 standard, developer PROUD said on 19 August 2026.
PROUD said the development is the first branded residence in Phuket to receive the certification and the only residence under the InterContinental brand to have done so. The project is a limited collection of 111 condominium units on Kamala Beach, with construction expected to be completed in 2027.
Fitwel assesses building design and management against more than 55 criteria covering residents’ health, safety and quality of life. PROUD said health, comfort and wellbeing considerations were incorporated from the beginning of the project’s development.
The wellness-focused facilities include a 25-metre swimming pool with hydrotherapy, a Technogym-equipped fitness centre, a rooftop yoga area, a wellness and meditation zone, and the Paradise Garden Court, which offers panoramic mountain views and views of Kamala Beach. Residents will also be able to use some services and facilities at the adjacent InterContinental Phuket Resort.
PROUD said all four condominiums in its portfolio have now received Fitwel certification: InterContinental Residences Hua Hin, VEHHA Hua Hin, ROMM Convent and The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort.
The project is designed under the “Far East Paradise” concept, combining contemporary Peranakan architecture with branded-residence services and wellness-oriented living. It has 111 units, with prices starting at B15 million.
