A Russian man died after falling from a condominium building in Moo 4, Wichit, Phuket on Tuesday evening, police said. Wichit Police were notified of the incident at 5:15pm, when Pol Lt Purachet Chukaew, Deputy Investigator at Wichit Police Station, received a report that a foreign national had fallen from height.
Emergency Response and Ongoing Investigation
Officers arriving at the scene found the man unconscious and in critical condition on the ground below the building. Emergency responders performed CPR before transporting him to Bangkok Hospital Siriroj, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police have coordinated with forensic doctors from Vachira Phuket Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Authorities have notified the Tourist Police and the International Affairs Division to inform the Russian Embassy. The man’s identity is being withheld until his family is notified, and the cause of the fall is still under investigation.
