A 45-year-old Russian woman was arrested in Phuket after police raided a luxury villa and allegedly found her operating an unlicensed cosmetic clinic with more than 600,000 baht in seized equipment and products.
Police in Phuket arrested a 45-year-old Russian woman after raiding a luxury villa where she was allegedly operating an unlicensed cosmetic clinic.
According to the source, officers acted on tips that the woman, identified as Kristine, was running the clinic from the upmarket property on the island. Police said they found her in a first-floor bedroom performing a cosmetic procedure on a client lying on a treatment bed.
Authorities seized medical equipment, unregulated fillers and Botox vials with a reported total value of more than 600,000 baht. The source said some of the Botox was described as smuggled.
Kristine was arrested and faced multiple charges. The source said she claimed some supplies had been smuggled through the local airport.
