Sek Loso will headline a fundraising concert in Phuket Town on 13 September, with part of the proceeds to be donated to the Radiation Therapy Center at Vachira Phuket Hospital and the Rotary Club of Phuket.
The event, titled THE CONCERT 30th ‘Jai Sang Ma’ (Heart’s Command), will be held at Phuket Vintage Market 77 on Phang Nga Road. Organisers said they expect more than 3,000 people to attend. The concert was announced at a press conference on 26 August by organiser Permsap Food & Restaurant Co Ltd, with Phuket Waterside as presenter.
Rotary Club of Phuket president Pichaya Uraikul said the club would use its share of the proceeds to support mothers and children, young people, families, environmental projects and community economic development. One current priority is Weera Satri Pa Khlok School, which needs improvements to its cafeteria and surrounding environment.
Local performer Khun Khao will open the show, followed by SKYPASS, KANG KENG, TG TIGER and LOSO ORIGINAL. DING RK and other artists are also scheduled to perform. Doors open at 5pm, with the opening acts scheduled from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and LOSO ORIGINAL due to perform from 10.30pm until midnight.
Organisers said more than 50 officers, supported by the Royal Thai Navy and local police, would provide security. Emergency vehicles and medical personnel will be stationed at the venue, with hospitals on standby if needed.
