Emergency Response and Investigation
Rescue teams quickly moved the burning boat away from other vessels to prevent the flames from spreading, using both fire trucks and fireboats. Four male and one female employee were taken to local hospitals with injuries.
Divers searching the site located the missing crew member, identified as guide Komphet, trapped beneath the sunken wreckage at 3:10 p.m. His body was recovered and sent to Vachira Phuket Hospital for examination.
