Thachanon Angkanapilas, president of the Phuket City Municipal Council, went to the area with Phuket City Municipality officials after receiving notice that a large tree had collapsed within Wat Mongkol Nimit, also known as Wat Klang, following stormy weather in the area.
An initial inspection found that one white sedan parked inside the temple grounds was damaged. Officials also found that part of the perimeter wall of Buddhamongkol Nimit School, which borders the temple, was damaged when the tree fell.
