โค้งสุดท้าย Thailand Biennale Phuket 2025

Thailand Biennale, Phuket 2025 is entering its final phase before closing on April 30, 2026, after months of welcoming global art lovers to the island. The international contemporary art festival has transformed Phuket from a tourism hotspot into a platform for art, critical dialogue, and shared learning under the theme “Eternal [Kalpa].” Over 20 key locations across Phuket, including Old Town, Saphan Hin, Kathu, and Promthep Cape, have hosted site-specific works by leading Thai and international artists.

Three Curated Routes and Site-Specific Highlights

Organizers designed three distinct art routes to guide visitors through Phuket’s varied landscapes and heritage. The Heritage & City Vibes route integrates contemporary art into Old Town’s historic architecture, with highlights at the Phuket Contemporary Art Gallery, Pearl Cinema, and DC Phuket Town, featuring works by artists such as Melati Suryodarmo and Ryuji Nishizawa.

Beyond the city, installations at local landmarks like Kathu Shrine and Promthep Cape explore connections between art, nature, and community. Notable works include Andrew Thomas Huang at Kathu Shrine and Nolan Oswald Dennis at Promthep Cape.

A third route, Heritage Reimagined, invites audiences to reinterpret the island’s history through art at sites such as Saphan Hin Park and Khao Rang Viewpoint. Pieces by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Shiro Takatani, and Ibrahim Mahama reframe historical spaces within a contemporary context. Many works were created specifically for their Phuket locations and will not be shown elsewhere.
