The ThailandPostMart push, announced with Phuket in focus as part of wider domestic market access, centers on combining product sales with postal delivery services under the “Thai Help Thai” initiative.
Officials said the platform’s main selling points are product quality and delivery quality, positioning Thailand Post’s logistics network as a core part of the marketplace model. The collaboration is intended to help community-based producers reach buyers more efficiently through an established online channel.
Partnership extends Thai Help Thai sales channel
The agreement links the Digital Economy and Society Ministry with the Community Development Department, known in Thailand as Phor Chor, to broaden market opportunities for small businesses and OTOP groups.
It also builds on the “Thai Help Thai” concept by giving producers another route to sell goods through a state-backed e-commerce platform.
The ministry said ThailandPostMart is being developed as a channel that pairs curated goods with dependable transport, rather than operating only as a standard online storefront.
The announcement framed the project as part of a broader effort to strengthen sales access for SMEs and OTOP enterprises through integrated commerce and logistics support.
