TITLE returns to profit in Q1 as Phuket safe-haven demand lifts outlook
TITLE returns to profit in Q1 as Phuket safe-haven demand lifts outlook — confirmed details at this stage for Phuket readers.
TITLE Plc posted a first-quarter 2026 profit turnaround on May 7, driven by transfers at Phuket condominium projects and stronger demand tied to the island’s safe-haven appeal. The developer reported revenue of 549 million baht, up 207% year-on-year, and net profit of 42 million baht, reversing a 30.77 million baht loss a year earlier.
The company said the gain came from continued transfers at The Title Legendary Bang-Tao and earlier-than-planned completion at The Title Serenity Naiyang, allowing partial revenue recognition from late in the quarter.
High-season sales topped 10.5 billion baht
TITLE said total sales during the latest high season, spanning the third quarter of 2025 through the first quarter of 2026, reached 10.517 billion baht. That marked 21% growth from the previous high season.
Standout projects included The Balcony Naiyang, valued at 3.8 billion baht, Coralina Kamala at 3.9 billion baht, and newly launched Biancana Surin at 3.2 billion baht. The company said Biancana Surin had already secured bookings for more than 65% of units.
Chief executive Drong Hutajuta said overseas buyers are increasingly seeking second homes in safer countries for long-term living and investment amid global volatility linked to the Middle East. He added that a weaker baht has improved foreign purchasing power.
Four project transfers planned at record 11.7 billion baht
TITLE plans to transfer four newly completed projects this year with a combined value of 11.7 billion baht, the highest total since the company was founded. Two are scheduled for the second quarter: The Title Serenity Naiyang worth 4 billion baht and The Title Heritage Bang-Tao worth 6 billion baht.
The second half pipeline includes The Title Villa Estella Naiyang, a 500 million baht luxury villa project, and The Title Cielo Rawai, valued at 1.2 billion baht.
Backlog at the end of the first quarter stood at more than 21.669 billion baht, which the company said should be recognized through 2028. TITLE is also preparing to open The Salute, its first beach club-style restaurant at Naiyang Beach, in the second half of 2026, while developing two hotels with IHG Hotels & Resorts.
