Tourist reportedly urinates inside Phuket beachwear shop

An Instagram post says CCTV captured a woman urinating inside a Phuket clothing shop before she fled, leaving a slipper behind.

An Instagram post published on 21 August 2026 reported that a woman urinated inside a beachwear shop in Phuket after pulling down her shorts near the entrance.

The post said CCTV footage captured the woman squatting inside the shop near the roadside. It said an elderly shopkeeper shouted at her as she left with her shorts around her knees, reportedly abandoning a slipper while fleeing.

According to the post, the shopkeeper was left to clean up afterwards.
